Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On March 7, 2012 and March 8, 2012, El Paso Electric Company (the “Company”) will participate in a marketing tour where it will deliver a presentation to potential investors about the Company. Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of the slides in connection with the presentation, which the Company has also posted on its website, www.epelectric.com.
The slides are being furnished pursuant to Item 7.01, and the information contained therein shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, or otherwise subject to the liabilities under that Section.
