Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On April 8, 2005, Benchmark Electronics, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it expects first quarter results to be in the lower end of the guidance previously provided at the time of the fourth quarter earnings release on February 8, 2005, due to the high level of scheduling and mix changes experienced during the quarter. The Company currently expects second quarter 2005 revenue to be between $525 million to $550 million. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
